Remembering Jim Dana

One of a kind

Beth Wolf

He was definitely one of a kind. Always helpful, always kind. When he was in Vegas, he always joined us at the holidays, Christmas,Easter,Saint Paddy‘s. If we were celebrating it, he was there with us. He always managed to show up about 20 minutes before I was ready for company and would happily sit there while I finished vacuuming or help with whatever tasks I needed to get done. He camped with us at events and tried his best to take his turn as Camp Cook. Even though he tended to make a bigger mess than a meal, we loved him for it. He had the most beautiful eyes, but I could seldom see them because his glasses were so dirty. It became kind of a game that I would take his glasses off his face and wash them so I could see them better. I miss his laugh and his gentle soul.
